‘Harriet Tubman’ to speak in Fredericksburg
MORE: Read more news from Fredericksburg
Preservation Virginia’s Myra Wiggins kindly informs me that the regular monthly meeting of the Mary Washington Branch of Preservation Virginia–formerly known as APVA–will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 5, in the theater of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library headquarters on Caroline Street in Fredericksburg.
The program, “Portrayal of Harriet Tubman,” will be presented by Cleo Coleman, president of Historic Port Royal Inc.
I have had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Coleman and hearing her presentation on another topic–and would heartily recommend this program.
