The Central Rappahannock Heritage Center invites you to meet Fredericksburg historian Tony Kent, who will sign copies of his new book, “Fredericksburg (Then and Now),” during a special event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
With historic and present-day photographs drawn from many sources, Kent’s work describes how the city and its buildings have changed over the decades.
Kent is a founder and member of the Heritage Center, the regional archive for the city and four neighboring counties. The center (in the old Maury School) is at 900 Barton St., one block off William Street, in downtown Fredericksburg.
Kent’s book will be available for purchase there on Saturday; it’s also available via Amazon.com and at bookstores.
The center’s website is crhcarchives.org. Or call 540/373-3704.
