Halloween at Brandy Station

The fourth annual “Spirited Evening” at Brandy Station will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the historic village’s Graffiti House,  19484 Brandy Road.

Young and old alike will hear Civil War-era ghost stories. Also invited to share the evening is the Virginia Paranormal Investigators, who have visited the house to search for paranormal activity.

The Graffiti House was visited by both Confederate and Union soldiers. The walls of its upper-floor rooms are covered in their graffiti. During the Civil War, the house served as a hospital, a headquarters and a provost marshal’s office.

Weather permitting, there will be a bonfire in the backyard, plus warm apple cider and light snacks.
