Gubernatorial debate tonight

Republican Ken Cuccinelli and Democrat Terry McAuliffe will face off tonight in the second of three scheduled debates in the Virginia governor’s race.

Libertarian candidate Robert Sarvis was not invited to participate.

The debate is sponsored by the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce. Usually that’s a daytime debate, but this year it’s being held in primetime — from 7-8 p.m. –and aired live on NBC4, as well as “NBC affiliates in Richmond, Charlottesville, Bristol and other cities throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia,” according to the chamber’s website.
