Romney “mobile HQ bus” to make stops in Culpeper, Fredericksburg today

The Mitt Romney campaign today is promoting a “Romney Campaign Mobile HQ bus” tour with stops in Culpeper and Fredericksburg.

The bus offers supporters the same get-out-the-vote activities as a regular campaign headquarters — phone-banking, voter registration, campaign signs — and travels to places where the campaign doesn’t have a regular headquarters.

The bus’ stops also function as a local rally event for Romney supporters.

Today the bus will be in Culpeper at the Walmart at 1:30, and in Fredericksburg with Sen. Bryce Reeves at the Republicans’ office at 1311 Central Park Boulevard at 4 p.m.

Romney, it should be noted, will not be with the bus. He is, however, arriving in Virginia today and will hold a rally in Fairfax Thursday morning.

Michelle Obama is also having rallies Thursday, one in Richmond and one in Fredericksburg. And Republican vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan is appearing Friday at a rally in Harrisonburg.
