Stafford County woman has $150K winner
Jennifer Ramos of Stafford County, an office manager at a dental practice, credits her mother for winning $150,000 in the Virginia Lottery.
According to a Lottery press release, Ramos’ mother bought the ticket and scratched it while Ramos was at work.
“It was a family effort,” she said as she claimed the top prize in the Lucky Cherry Slots Scratcher game.
The winning ticket was bought at the 7–Eleven at 201 Garrisonville Road in Stafford.
Ramos said she intends to use the winnings to take care of her family, and yes, her mom.
Lucky Cherry Slots is one of dozens of Scratcher games available from the Virginia Lottery. It features prizes ranging from $5 up to $150,000. Ms. Ramos is the fourth player to claim the top prize in the game, meaning there are six unclaimed $150,000 prizes remaining.
