REGION BRIEF: Woman, 51, identified in Spotsylvania crash
A 51-year-old Spotsylvania County woman died early Saturday morning after her car overturned on U.S. 1, according to the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office.
The victim, Deborah Payne, was driving southbound at about 2:30 a.m. when her white Nissan sedan ran off the right side of the road and flipped just before the Pick-A-Part in Massaponax.
First Sgt. Tim Bryner of the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office, who responded to the wreck, said Payne was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
