Spotsylvania woman killed in crash
A 59-year-old Spotsylvania woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning, according to State Police.
The crash, on U.S. 1 south of Old Telegraph Road, occurred at 2:51 a.m. when the victims’s 2000 Nissan Maxima ran off the right side of the road, struck a tree stump, became airborne and flipped.
There were no passengers and others involved in the crash.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
