Stafford man charged in child-porn case
A Stafford County man has been charged with five counts of possessing child pornography as the result of an Internet investigation that started in Hanover County, police said.
Kenneth Rodger Falknor, 32, was arrested following a raid Tuesday at his home on Woodstock Lane off U.S. 1 in northern Stafford. Stafford Sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy said video depicting sexual acts involving children were seized during the raid.
According to an affidavit for a search warrant filed in Stafford Circuit Court, Hanover Investigator D.P. Klitz was conducting online surveillance the morning of Nov. 7 when he came across an Internet address that was viewing files that the investigator suspected involved child pornography.
The files had titles including “toddler rape” and others using far more vulgar terms, court records show.
Klitz traced the address to Falknor’s home and contacted Stafford Detective Darryl Wells about what he had learned. Wells obtained a search warrant and found evidence that led to Falknor’s arrest, Kennedy said.
The affidavit states that one of the videos showed a man molesting a girl who appeared to be about 18 months old.
Falknor is being held in the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
