EverSewEnglish to close Eagle Village store
EverSewEnglish in Fredericksburg’s Eagle Village development will close when its lease ends March 14.
Owners Mac and Jennifer Church have decided to downsize after more than 10 years of business, and will no longer make custom totes, handbags and accessories.
“Our decision to close the shop has been forced upon us due to the state of the economy creating an overwhelming slump in sales,” according to a post on EverSewEnglish’s Facebook page. “Coupled with rising overhead costs, higher taxes and elevated cost of supplies we are unable to continue to operate a profitable business.”
The Churches have stopped accepting custom orders, but will sell existing stock until their store closes. Customers should use EverSewEnglish gift cards by then.
Orders for embroidery services can be placed at the shop until March 14, as Jennifer Church will continue to offer embroidery services from home. She can be reached at 540/371-3547 or Jennifer@eversewenglish.com.
