Stafford man facing drug charges
A Stafford County man is facing drug charges after Prince William Police say he was walking intoxicated in the roadway.
Prince William Police Officers responded to the area of Opitz Boulevard and Montgomery Avenue in Woodbridge for reports of a pedestrian in the roadway, according to a news release from the Prince William Police Department.
When police arrived, they found a man acting disorderly and speaking in an incoherent manner, police said.
Further investigation revealed the man was in possession of PCP, police said.
Anthony Randale Stewart, 39, of Olympic Drive in Stafford is charged with public intoxication and possession with intent to distribute PCP.
He is being held without bond and will appear in Prince William General District Court on Feb. 24.
