Pedestrian struck in Spotsylvania
A man in his mid-20s suffered non-life threatening injuries after he was hit by a vehicle late Friday night in Spotsylvania County, police said.
Police say the man was struck in the area of Breezewood Drive and Courthouse Road around 10 p.m.
Police say investigation indicates the man, who was wearing a dark brown hoodie and dark gray sweat pants, crossed into the lane of travel of a minivan heading westbound on Courthouse Road.
Police say the van had the right of way.
Police say lighting and rain contributed to the accident. No charges had been filed as of this morning.
