State Theatre has deal for federal government workers
With film screenings canceled at the Packard Campus of the Library of Congress because of the federal government shutdown, the State Theatre in Culpeper has a special deal.
For the duration of the shutdown, the theater will offer free movie tickets to employees who show a valid federal ID at the box office.
In addition, the theater will go on with its “Library of Congress Presents” films. This Sunday the theater is showing “The Wizard of Oz.”
The theater is located at 305 S. Main St. in Culpeper. The box office is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday, two hours prior to shows, and one hour prior to movies.
