Man urinates on floor, attacks store clerk
Fredericksburg police are looking for a man who assaulted a clerk after urinating all over the store floor late Saturday, police said.
City police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe said four young men entered Nader’s Grocery at 11:55 p.m. and asked to use the bathroom. The clerk told them that the store has no public restroom.
Three of the men continued talking to the clerk and/or began shopping, while the fourth walked to the back of the store. The store has surveillance cameras that the clerk can monitor from behind the counter, and when the clerk looked up, he saw a man urinating all over the floor and on drinks that were stacked near the beer cooler.
After seeing that, the clerk told the urinating man and his three friends to leave the store and that he was going to call the police. As the clerk was escorting them out, the one he’d seen urinating charged and hit the clerk in the head. His friends pulled the man off the clerk and they all fled from the area.
All four were described as white males in their 20′s, clean shaven with military-style buzz cuts. Bledsoe said police have copies of the video and other evidence they hope will help them track down the men.
