Sutton quits Orange supervisor’s race
The campaign for the Orange County District 4 supervisor’s seat is down to two candidates.
Somerset Farms resident Matt Sutton announced this week that he is dropping out of the race.
Sutton revealed his decision at a Lake of the Woods Civic Club candidates’ reception, and indicated that he was throwing his support behind Jonathan Chasen.
Chasen, a past president of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, is vying with Economic Development Authority vice chairman Jim Crozier for the District 4 seat being vacated by Grover Wilson.
Bette Winter is running unopposed to represent District 4 on the Orange County School Board.
