Man charged with setting fire in trailer
A 24-year-old Culpeper man is in jail after he allegedly set the den of a trailer on fire following an argument with the owner.
Timothy Baker was arrested and charged with the burning of an occupied dwelling and malicious injury by fire following the Monday night incident at Partlow’s Trailer Park just off the Eggbornsville Road.
The second charge was made after Culpeper County sheriff’s deputies learned that the homeowner burned his hands while putting out the window curtains Baker allegedly set ablaze, according to spokeswoman Ana Ortiz.
Baker is being held without bond pending his first court appearance.
