Four people report robbery in Fredericksburg
Four people claim they were robbed at gunpoint late Saturday by three men they’d just met at a Fredericksburg store, police said.
City police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe said the victims, two men and two women between the ages of 18 and 22, told police they met the suspects at the 7-Eleven on Dixon Street. They made arrangements to meet at a nearby location in Mayfield and go from there to a party.
The victims followed the men to the 1500 block of Howard Street about 11:40 p.m., where the men confronted the victims and demanded their wallets and cell phones. One of the men had a handgun, and the victims complied. No one was injured.
The robbers were in a black Ford F-150 pickup truck and were described as black males in their early 20′s. The gunman was the driver and had a medium complexion and was wearing a black T-shirt with a graphic design. The other two were described as light-skinned; one was wearing cargo pants and a white T-shirt and the other was wearing a red and white plaid shirt and had gold capped teeth.
