Gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe drops by downtown Fredericksburg
Democratic Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe visited several businesses in downtown Fredericksburg earlier today.
Among the restaurants he stopped by were Kybecca and Capital Ale House, a McAuliffe spokesman said.
“I was listening to business owners about their mainstream ideas for improving the economy,” McAuliffe said in a statement. ”With federal funding cuts coming, we need to diversify Virginia’s economy and small businesses like the ones in Fredericksburg are a great model for that.”
McAuliffe is running against Republican Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.
