Several people stabbed at Four Mile Fork hotel

At least three people are recovering after a stabbing this morning at a Spotsylvania County hotel after a large fight.

The incident happened at the Days Inn in the Four Mile Fork area. Two were detained for questioning, but no one is in custody, said Lt. Troy Skebo of the Sheriff’s Office. 

At 9:18 Monday morning, deputies responded to an assault in progress and found several people with stab wounds. Three victims were transported to Mary Washington Hospital with the wounds and a head injury. They are stable, and the injuries were non-life threatening.

Detectives are still investigating the scene. There is no suspect description at this time. Skebo said more information will be released as it is available.
