Crowd greets Cuccinelli as he opens office here

A crowd of nearly 100 was waiting when Virginia Attorney General and Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli arrived to open his Fredericksburg Victory Office on Saturday.
They heard Cuccinelli talk about a central theme of his campaign—the importance of limiting government and spending.
And they heard him address his “passion” for mental health care and the importance of education at both the K–12 and college levels.
Cuccinelli told the crowd he expects Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe to outspend him by a large margin. He also said he expects turnout to be low in November.
Because of those two factors, he told supporters, “We will count on you all in this part of Virginia to get out a positive message of limited government and economic growth.”
Rep. Rob Wittman, R-1st District, told the crowd: “We are really at a tipping point as a nation. The nation’s eyes are going to be on Virginia.”
State Del. Mark Cole told them Democrats in Washington are “pushing for bigger government. We don’t want a ‘me too’ governor.”
Also in attendance was Virginia state Sen. Bryce Reeves.
Cuccinelli’s Fredericksburg office is located near Four Mile Fork in Spotsylvania County at 10813 Courthouse Road.
