Missing child in Stafford County found

UPDATE: The missing child has been found and he is safe and OK, according to Stafford County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Bill Kennedy.

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office issued the following release this afternoon:

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a missing child in the area of 33 Richland Road in the Hartwood area of Stafford County.

The child is a 10 year old black male, 4’07” with bushy hair. The child is wearing a blue or green shirt with blue jeans and flip flops. If this child is seen please notify the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office by calling

540-658-4400. No additional information is being released at this time.
