The Culpeper town police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man who robbed a pet supply store at knifepoint Tuesday afternoon.

“The man, described as a very fair-skinned white male, walked into Reigning Cats and Dogs in the 200 block of East Davis Street about 4:40 p.m.,” said town public information officer Wally Bunker. “He brandished a knife and demanded money from the clerk.”

The robber appeared to be in his early 20s, stands about 6 feet 2 inches and weighs about 220 pounds, Bunker said.

The man, who was wearing a jacket, possibly with a reflective stripe, wore a bandana on his face during the holdup, Bunker said.

Police are uncertain which direction he headed after the robbery.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken. The store clerk was not injured.
