Four men who were arrested last week for a home-invasion robbery in Stafford are now facing multiple robbery-related charges in Prince William.

Keith Daniel Williams, 20, Carvel J. Williams, 27, Latwon Berryman, 23, and Jalil D. Berryman, 23, are all charged in connection with a Jan. 29 break-in at an apartment at 3927 Jefferson Davis Highway in North Stafford.

A group of masked men barged into the home and demanded money and drugs. Two men were robbed and shot in the legs multiple times.

Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok announced Wednesday that those four and others have now been tied to three recent robberies in that county.

Carvel Williams and Jalil Berryman are among four people charged with a Jan. 24 assault and robbery in the 18000 block of Fraley Boulevard in Dumfries.

A 21-year-old man reported that he was assaulted and robbed by a group of men who later fled in a vehicle.

Both Williamses and Latwon Berryman are charged in an armed robbery at the Super 8 motel in Dumfries on Jan. 29, the same night as the Stafford incident.

A 21-year-old man was assaulted and robbed there, Perok said.

Keith Williams is also charged in connection with a Dec. 3 incident in which a Fredericksburg man was assaulted with a gun and robbed in the 18200 block of Graham Court in Triangle.

During the assault, Perok said, the gun discharged and struck the driver in the upper body.

The shooting victim, 23-year-old Sandra Lynn McKelvey, was later charged with robbery and malicious wounding after police determined that she set up the robbery for Williams.

A fifth man, Clayton George Smith of Manassas, is also charged in Stafford but has not been charged in Prince William.

Smith’s car was spotted on a business surveillance camera tape following the Stafford robbery.

All five suspects in the Stafford incident are being held without bond in the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
