Fredericksburg area to receive a dusting of snow tonight

Some parts of the Fredericksburg area could see half of an inch of snow tonight.

But don’t expect much more than that, said National Weather Service Meteorologist Jared Klein. “Pretty much a dusting is what we’re expecting,” said Klein, who works in the Sterling office.

He said he expects the snow to stop between 10 p.m. and midnight.

There’s also a slight chance of snow tomorrow  from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The low temperature tonight is expected to be 27 degrees in Fredericksburg. Tomorrow’s high will be 42 degrees.
