Snow forecast downgraded
CLOSINGS: Click here for the latest list
We’ve been downgraded.
The National Weather Service has replaced the Winter Storm Warning that was in effect for the Fredericksburg region with a Winter Weather Advisory.
The latest forecast calls for a mixture of snow and sleet to begin late this afternoon, ending as snow tonight. Temperatures will be in the mid-30s.
Parts of the region may see 2 to 4 inches of snow, with lower totals expected north of Fredericksburg.
Interstate 95 has already seen three major accidents this week in the region, and wintry precipitation will only make the roads more dangerous.
If you must drive this afternoon and evening, please use caution.
