Magnitude-2.0 quake recorded in Louisa
A magnitude 2.0 earthquake was recorded in Louisa County Wednesday night.
According to data from the U.S. Geological Society, the weak quake hit around 6:35 p.m. but didn’t cause any damage.
The epicenter of the quake was located a little over a half-mile east of Louisa.
The area was shaken by a magnitude 5.8 earthquake on Aug. 23, 2011 and has had several smaller aftershocks ever since.
