Garbage truck was on fire at Fredericksburg Christian School
A Waste Management truck was on fire this morning in the parking lot of Fredericksburg Christian School’s Spotsylvania campus on Thornton Rolling Road.
The Spotsylvania Fire Department got a call at 6:43 a.m about smoke in the back of the garbage truck.
The truck, which was full of garbage, had to be emptied into the parking lot to locate the fire and so that the truck itself would not be burned, said Deputy Chief Scott Hechler.
The school was not affected by the fire in the truck.
