Anti-bullying event today in Spotsylvania

Monster trucks, moon bounces, a pumpkin patch and hay rides will be part of Cedar Forest and Riverview elementary schools’ anti-bullying fall festival Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dubbed “Bully Free Starts With Me,” the event will be held at Massaponax High School’s front parking lot.

Entry to the event is free. Children can play unlimited carnival-type games for $5, plus there will be food, skits, performances by choral groups  and martial arts demonstrations.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the bullying-prevention programs at the two elementary schools.
