Potomac Supply hearing rescheduled
A hearing scheduled in the bankruptcy case of a Northern Neck lumber mill has been put off again, until the end of the month.
Potomac Supply, which filed for bankruptcy early this year, was due in Richmond bankruptcy court Wednesday for a hearing on the company’s potential $20 million sale to Chesapeake Bay Enterprises.
That hearing itself had been postponed a week after Chesapeake’s lawyer told Judge Douglas O. Tice Jr. last week that Chesapeake’s lender had backed out.
The lawyer said Chesapeake was looking for alternative financing and that Potomac was looking for other buyers.
The next hearing has now been set for Oct. 29.
