Senate debate to be televised
U.S. Senate candidates George Allen and Tim Kaine will meet tonight in their second-to-last debate of the campaign.
The debate, held in Richmond at WCVE’s public TV studios, will be broadcast live by several TV stations, including C-SPAN and several PBS stations (see bottom for full list, or look at the AARP’s website here).
It’s their fourth debate, but this one comes with just a month left in the campaign.
Polls in the high-profile race have shown a virtual tie for more than a year, although polls released last week indicate Kaine might be edging ahead.
The debate will by moderated by Richmond political analyst Bob Holsworth.
You can watch the debate on the following stations. It runs from 8-9 p.m. tonight.
WJLA Newchannel 8
WETA-TV PBS (delayed until Oct. 9)
