Two hurt in crash on Fall Hill Avenue in Fredericksburg
Fredericksburg Police spokesperson Natatia Bledsoe issued the following release on the accident on Fall Hill Avenue in Fredericksburg:
“Police and emergency services responded to a motor vehicle crash at 7:50 this morning involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle in the 3300 block of Fall Hill Avenue. All lanes of traffic were closed for approximately 30 minutes.
“The crash occurred when the driver of the passenger car, a 2012 Honda Accord, pulled out of the entrance to Fall Hill Apartments and struck a Harley Davidson motorcycle that was traveling westbound on Fall Hill Avenue. Both the driver of the car and the motorcycle were transported to the hospital. The motorcycle operator, a 63-year-old Mineral man, was lying in the roadway when the first officer arrived on the scene. He suffered significant, but it is believed non-life-threatening injuries.
“The driver of the Honda, Carla Griffin, 42, of Fredericksburg is charged with failure to yield the right of way.”
