Ex-employee charged in theft from check-cashing store
A former employee has been accused of breaking into a Spotsylvania business and stealing a large amount of money, police said.
Rudy M. Andrade, 27, is charged with burglary and wearing a mask in public in connection with a Sept. 17 burglary at Checks Cashed at 3500 Plank Road, Sheriff’s Capt. Mike Harvey said.
Harvey said the intruder entered through a rear door and circumvented the store’s security system.
Harvey said the money has not been recovered. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 582-7115 or Crime Solvers at 582-5822.
