Domino’s worker robbed

A Domino’s Pizza employee carrying a deposit bag was robbed early Saturday morning, according to the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office.

The night manager told police he was carrying the deposit bag to his vehicle in the parking lot at 6734 Jefferson Davis Highway at about 12:15 a.m. when he heard a yell from behind him and then was tackled, according to Capt. Mike Harvey.

The assailant then punched the victim in the ribs and made off with the deposit bag, containing an undisclosed amount of cash and checks.

The assailant is described as a male who was wearing a black track suit, black mask and black gloves, Harvey said.
