Mans flees deputies serving warrant, authorities say
A man fled as deputies attempted to serve a warrant Saturday in Spotsylvania County, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
It happened in the vicinity of Ascot Circle, off Leavells Road.
Capt. Mike Harvey said the Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate Tony Diaz, a 5-foot, 8-inch tall, 144-pound Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes who was last seen in a white T–shirt and boxers.
Harvey said deputies had a Circuit Court capias warrant and that the Sheriff’s Office had no additional details about it.
The Sheriff’s Office issued an emergency alert asking anyone who sees Diaz to call 540/582-7115.
