Human skeletal remains found in Stafford County

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office reports that human skeletal remains have been found in the wooded area near the northbound 140 off ramp exit of I-95.
Thursday morning at 9:13 a truck driver, who had parked his tractor trailer on the 140 exit off ramp, discovered some human skeletal remains in the wooded area where he was walking. He immediately called 911 and Stafford deputies and members of the Virginia State Police responded.

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident with assistance from the Virginia State Police. This is an ongoing investigation. No other information is available at this time.
