Man killed in crash on I-95 in Stafford County
One man was killed and another person was injured last night in a crash on Interstate 95 south in Stafford County, according to a release from the Fredericksburg Fire Department.
The single-vehicle accident occurred at the 131.3 mile marker at about 11 p.m.
The vehicle went over a guardrail and landed in a grassy area on the opposite side of the road, according to the release. Authorities believe the vehicle rolled over at least one time based on visible damage.
One victim was pronounced dead on the scene, and the other was taken to Mary Washington Hospital for treatment. That person’s condition was not known.
Stafford County Fire and Rescue and Virginia State Police also responded. The crash remains under investigation.
