The Tri-County Drug Task Force executed the search warrant around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 2800 block of Three Way Road in Oldhams, said Westmoreland Sheriff C.O. Balderson.
Deputies seized an undisclosed amount of cash, narcotics, prescription drugs, drug paraphrenalia, four assault rifles, two handguns and a shot gun, he said.
Balderson said one of the assault rifles had been reported stolen from Northumberland County.
After the search, Judson “Buckshot” Campbell, 56, was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, three counts of possession of prescription medication without a prescription, possession of drug paraphrenalia, possession of a stolen firearm and seven counts of possession of a firearm while in the possession of drugs with the intent to distribute.
Campbell was being held without bond at the Northern Neck Regional Jail.
More charges are pending, Balderson said.
The Tri-County Drug Task Force is composed of deputies from Caroline, King George and Westmoreland counties, as well as the Virginia State Police and the Naval Criminal Investigative Services. A State Police K-9 also participated in the current investigation, Balderson said.
