Stafford woman charged in car-ramming incident

A Stafford County woman faces charges after she rammed her car into another car several times at a park in Prince William County, police said.
According to a Prince William County police report, authorities responded to an area in Locust Shade Park in Triangle Thursday for a reported crash.
The investigation revealed that two known acquaintances, a 37-year-old man from Fredericksburg and a 37-year-old Stafford woman, had a verbal altercation that escalated, the report said.
During the altercation, a 34-year-old male friend of the victim’s said he was hit by the woman with a stick when he tried to intervene, according to the report.
Both men tried to leave the scene in their vehicle, but were struck several times by the woman’s car, the report said.
Both cars as well as a wooden guard rail at the park were damaged, the report said.
The woman fled the scene on foot before police arrived on the scene, but was arrested later at her home, police said.
Crisdel Valeriano Bell of Ebony Court in Stafford is charged with two counts of malicious wounding, hit and run and destruction of property.
Minor injuries were reported and the incident was reported as domestic-related.
