Charged worker loses his job with city

A man who faces drug and pornography charges was fired from his job as the supervisor of the downtown Fredericksburg parking garage.
Louis Philip Cox IV, 28, was arrested Wednesday at his job on charges of illegal manufacture of marijuana and 10 felony counts of possession of child pornography.
Fredericksburg and Virginia State Police detectives investigated after a tip about a city resident growing marijuana.
City Manager Beverly Cameron said Thursday that the city is conducting an internal investigation.
Cox is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
