Three face charges of sexual assault

Two Caroline County men and a juvenile are facing charges after a girl reported that she was sexually assaulted in Hanover County.

The alleged incident occurred in Beaverdam early on May 27 and was reported the next day, said Hanover County Sheriff’s spokesman Chris Whitley.

Donald L. Robinson III, 19, of Penola Road in Ruther Glen is charged with rape, forcible sodomy and object sexual penetration.

Charles D. Johnson, 19, of King George Cove in Ruther Glen is charged with forcible sodomy.

A juvenile, who won’t be identified because of his age, is also facing charges, Whitley said.

The juvenile victim was an acquaintance of the suspects. The case is still under investigation.
