Louisa declares state of emergency

Louisa County has declared a local state of emergency and closed county offices at 3 p.m. today in anticipation of severe weather associated with Hurricane Sandy, said Fire & EMS Chief Keith Greene.

Louisa County expects high winds and significant rain from this storm and has partially activated its EOC to monitor the event.
