Most Louisa students can retrieve backpacks Friday

Louisa, VA – Louisa County Public Schools has announced that  all students, except those that attend Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, will be able to pick up their back packs at their respective schools tomorrow August 26, 2011, between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

The school division has not yet been granted permission from structural engineers for Thomas Jefferson Elementary School students to gather their back packs. Students will be notified as soon as possible when a date and time has been set for the distribution of those personal items.
