More than 100,000 Dominion Virginia Power customers in the Fredericksburg area are without power as of 5:30 a.m. Saturday. The utility reports 452,631 in the Northern Virginia area are in the dark, and a total of 796,946 customers in Virginia have lost power.

Rappahannock Electric Cooperative reports outages throughout its coverage area, including more than 24,000 in the Fredericksburg area.

Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative reports 5,783 customers in Stafford County have lost power.

Indeed, Stafford seems to have been the hardest hit in the region. The three utilities combined report that more than 60,000 customers in Stafford have lost power.
