Supervisors won’t meet on Tuesday
The King George Board of Supervisors will holds its first meeting of the month at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6. The board isn’t meeting on Tuesday because it’s Election Day. Two of the current board members–Cedell Brooks and John LoBuglio–are up for re-election.
In the Shiloh District race, Brooks faces competition from Shawn Lawrence, a retired disability advocate who moved to King George a year ago.
In the James Monroe District, LoBuglio is opposed by Jim Howard, who held the seat before LoBuglio, along with Rich Lorey, a retired scientist, and Jeff Bueche, who’s active duty Coast Guard.
