Shiloh presents one-woman show

Actress Anita Gutschick will portray various women of the Bible during a one-woman show at Shiloh Baptist Church in King George County on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 2 p.m.

Gutschick is a dramatist who will present her testimony through the portrayal of Bible women Sarah, Martha, and the sinful woman. She has performed these roles more than 750 times in 31 states at small and large churches, women’s retreats and conferences, youth groups and other events.

She’s worked in many community theater groups, including the Colonial Players of Annapolis. Gutschick also has studied acting, voice and movement and has worked with Burn Brae Dinner Theater’s Student Enrichment Program and Maryland Hall Story Theater.
