KG residents surveyed on Bowling Green assisted living facility
King George residents are being asked to give their input about the need for an assisted living facility in Bowling Green that would serve Caroline and King George county residents.
Kevin Byrnes, director of regional planning for the George Washington Regional Commission, said there’s been a strong response from Caroline residents. “We would like to get feedback from as many King George residents as possible before the survey closes” on Friday, July 27.
Neither county has such a facility. The Town of Bowling Green would have to obtain a state planning grant to study the project in more detail. Questions in the online survey will help community planners assess the demand for such a facility.
