Second-hand shop opens in county

Here’s a blog by fellow reporter Cathy Jett about a new second-hand shop in the county:

Lost Treasures Second-Hand Shoppe has opened at 1136 Kings Highway in King George County.

It sells furniture, kitchenware, knickknacks, decorative items, and some clothing, said Debbie Belcher, who owns the new shop with her husband.

The couple, who live in Middlesex County, have bought many of the items at storage unit auctions. Some, such as the collectible Boyd’s Bears, were donated by a friend.

Lost Treasures is located behind the Sealston Post Office and next to Muddy Creek Storage. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
