KG veterinarian gives scholarship to dog club member

Aldyn Abell, a King George High School graduate who plans to attend Virginia Tech in the fall, received a scholarship from Eagle’s Nest Animal Hospital in King George.

It was the second year the scholarship was offered to a member of Fancy’s 4-H Dog Club. Eligible applicants have to be a member of the 4-H Dog Club for at least two years, have a minimum grade point average of 3.0, be a senior, and and show a commitment to the community.

Aldyn has been a member of the dog club for 10 years.
