Shiloh Baptist youth on Durham mission

Shiloh Baptist Church's youth group is working on mission projects in Durham, N.C.

This week, the youth group of Shiloh Baptist Church has been participating in World Changers, a mission project that gives youths and adults the chance to help others with their physical and spiritual needs.

The Shiloh group has been assigned to Durham, N.C., and working on community projects such as putting on new roofs.

Adult Jim and Christian Reger, Rob Dean and Scott Mason have lead the youth group team that includes Randall Bosworth, Ben and Joe Busic, Zack Dean, Sierra Dermod, Sammy Hastings, Austin Pallone, McKenzy Roeske and Samantha Tubbs.

In 2011, World Changers coordinated the mission ministries of more than 19,000 participants in 95 locations across North America. The participants volunteered on more than 1,500 work sites and 16 ministry sites. They made more than 9,800 presentations of the gospel and recorded 450 professions of faith, according the World Changers website. More than $100,000 in donations was received for the missions offering.
