Mars Hill events continue for teens
The next Mars Hill event, for middle- and high-school students in King George and surrounding counties, will be held at Round Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 5 to 9 p.m. Registration starts at 4:45 p.m.
More than 100 teens attended the last Mars Hill event. Any youth who brings a first-timer gets a free Mars Hill t-shirt.
Two bands will be playing: a youth band, 3D Salvation, will open followed by Amethyst Heart. Guest speaker Sean O’Sullivan, will talk about “Saving Private Cupcake,” based on Romans 5: 18-19.
A number of youth will be sharing testimonies during “Youth Time.” Others interested in sharing words, songs or skits should contact Stephen Hagewood, Mars Hill coordinator, at marshill@va.metrocast.net.
Games and food are planned, but anyone who would like to contribute desserts or side dishes is asked to contact John and Meredith Busic at jbusic@truevine.net
